    The Cinder & Smoke Fest is our baby here at Capture Kentucky. It was an idea that was born as an opportunity to showcase some of the great artists that we feature here. A way to bring our articles to life, if you will. Last year, it was held in Lexington at Proud Mary BBQ. We had a great first year and we loved the location, the people, the food and everything about Proud Mary.     Capture Kentucky Announces New Location And Partner For Cinder & Smoke Fest. Joining Thatcher’s Downtown In Jackson, Kentucky.

    Capture Kentucky has partnered with Thatcher’s Downtown in Jackson, Kentucky to host the 2nd Annual Cinder & Smoke Fest. After a successful first year, Cinder & Smoke Fest has changed venues from Lexington’s Proud Mary BBQ to Thatcher’s Downtown in Jackson, Kentucky. We thank everyone at Proud Mary and we hope to work with them again someday soon. The decision to move was a difficult one, but owners Shawn and Crystal Thatcher have stepped up to make the 2019 version of Cinder & Smoke a show like Eastern Kentucky has rarely seen.
