Slade’s Festival Of The Red Is A Wonderful Event Full Of Great Music And Discovery
FRIDAY Not all music festivals are created equally, and to prove my point, let’s take a quick look at my experience at Festival of the Red (FOTR) over the weekend. Contributing to Capture Kentucky has helped me discover a lot of local artists that I may not have had an opportunity to see or hear otherwise. I enjoy photography, and I’ll admit I’m a much better photographer than writer, so I’m going to give you an overview of some cool moments, and a couple of discoveries of artists that I hadn’t heard before Festival of the Red ( Friday – Aaron Boyd and Saturday – Cole Chaney).

Whiskey Soldier To Host Showcase at Tidball’s Sounds and Spirits
On November 14th Whiskey Soldier will gather a collective of musicians to Bowling Green, Kentucky’s premier music venue, Tidball’s Sounds and Spirits. The venue has been a focal point of the southern Kentucky music scene that’s featured a whole slew of artists over the past decade. From local favorites The Josephines and Dan Luke and The Raid, to nationally recognized Cage The Elephant and Moon Taxi, Tidball’s presents high quality music for all of their patrons.
